What does summer mean at Animal Humane Society? It means more animals need you.
Every summer we see an increase in our local population of vulnerable animals — from dogs affected by heatstroke and temperature-related illnesses to hundreds of newborn kittens, to lost beloved pets looking to reunite with their caretakers. And while summer might mean vacations and sunny days to many, at AHS, our critical work continues no matter the season.
This summer, help us make a difference for animals in need. Because animal welfare doesn’t take a vacation.
