Don’t slow down! |
Many walkers receive most of their donations in the days leading up to the Walk, so now is the perfect time to hit social media with an appeal, send a text message to your friends and family, and ask your employer about matching your gifts. |
If you haven’t taken a look at our tips and tools page, head there now — you’ll find conversation starters, ideas for fundraising events in your home or in your community, and interesting facts about AHS. (Did you know we partnered with local pet food pantries to distribute more than thirty tons of pet food and cat litter last year?) |
And don’t forget: If 250 more people register and raise $100 by Walk day, we’ll unlock a $25,000 match from our generous supporters Richard and Susan Goldman. When every step is a second chance, every gift makes a difference. |

Fundraising success stories |
A member of the Pup Culture team shared the story of adopting their beloved pet June from AHS as a motivator for participating in Walk, and now their team's raised almost $1,000! Walker Sarah Foss offered a free photoshoot to the first 7 people to pledge $100 to her fundraiser — she's already raised $800! Find inspiration for your own fundraising efforts or share your own success stories on the Walk for Animals Facebook page. |

Share this inspiring animal story |
Majesty weighed only thirty pounds when she arrived at Animal Humane Society — a healthy adult Doberman should weigh twice that. AHS helped her reach a healthy weight and recover from infections along the way, and now she’s a new dog. |
