Thank you for visiting my page for the Walk for Animals. I know that there is a lot going on in the world right now, and everyone's life has been impacted. There are so many in need, and that includes countless animals that have also been affected. The Walk for Animals is back to being in person this year. We all have a lot on our minds and plates, but I hope we can continue to come together and support our furry companions that are also in need. Our shelters and rescues need your assistance now more than ever. I appreciate your consideration and support!
Our animals are my babies and are all rescues. We adopted Frank from the AHS in Golden Valley. He is an 11 year old orange tabby, and my best buddy. We added a furry companion to the family in June of 2020, a German Shepherd, Leo. He is now two and has lots of energy. Unfortunately we lost our Shih-Tzu, Matty, right after Christmas. We miss him so much, and think about him every day. Honoring his and Duffy's memory is one of the many reasons I am walking again this year. Our pets are part of the family.
I am very excited to help this worthy cause. This will be my 10th year participating in the walk. The Humane Society takes in tens of thousands of animals every year and relies primarily on donations from people like you and me. Your support will make a difference in the lives of these animals and the families that adopt them. It is very much appreciated!
