Every year, thousands of dogs, cats, and critters come to Animal Humane Society in need of a second chance. Animal Humane Society provides these animals with food, shelter, medical care, and most importantly, the love they deserve. This is a cause close to my heart and I hope you’ll partner with me as I participate in this year’s first ever VIRTUAL Walk for Animals!
Though Animal Humane Society shelters are temporarily closed to the public, staff are still hard at work ensuring dogs, cats, and critters receive individualized medical attention, love and care.
Our Vet Centers are still providing pet wellness exams to low-income families. Pet Helpline representatives are offering advice for all pet-related questions. AHS humane agents continue to investigate reports of animal abuse and neglect. And our foster volunteers have opened their homes to hundreds of shelter animals.
Our commitment to animals in need is steadfast, even in times of crisis. You can show AHS staff and volunteers a little extra love during this time by donating, or writing a brief note of appreciation. Your words of support and encouragement are especially meaningful right now.
These animals rely on the support of compassionate individuals like us. Every gift makes a difference. Your generosity ensures AHS has the resources to care for and protect every animal that comes through their doors.
Together, we can make happy new beginnings possible! Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
