Roscoe was transferred to Minnesota from Indiana and then he found me on one of my volunteer shifts. Denali had a harder time.
She came into the AHS mobile surgical unit that I work on through another shelter to get spayed. We found that she had severe glaucoma, mammary tumors, an infected uterus, and a hernia. Luckily AHS has the resources the treat all of these things. The small rescue surrendered her so AHS who provided her with the best care over the course of 2 months. During those 2 months was when I fell in love with her. She was an old lady with so many issues but all she wanted was someone to snuggle with. So of course she came home with me.
I am so lucky to work for an organization that has the ability to help animals in need and provide them with amazing high quality care and help find them their new homes.
These animals rely on the support of compassionate individuals like us. Every gift makes a difference. Your generosity ensures AHS has the resources to care for and protect every animal that comes through their doors. Your gift also helps me get closer to reaching my goal.
Please support me -- and the animals -- with your donation today. Together, we can make happy new beginnings possible! Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
