Every year, thousands of dogs, cats, and critters come to Animal Humane Society in need of a second chance. AHS works tirelessly to provide life-changing care and support these animals with safe shelter, necessary medical and behavioral care, and most importantly, the love they deserve.
Here at AHS, our vision is to compassionately and responsibly create a more humane world for animals. We aim to be good to animals, partner with people, and lead responsibly in the animal world to make it happen!
I wanted to work for AHS after I adopted my dog Auggie at the Golden Valley location. As soon as I met him, something clicked. He's been my soul dog ever since (the missing part of my soul that I found). I don't know what my life would be like without him, and I wanted to be a part of an organization that brought people their "Auggies." Now, I'm a small part in the AHS team to make this happen!
Your donation not only supports the animals that come through our doors through local surrender, nationwide transport, or Humane Investigation cases, but the people who put their heart and souls into helping them. The people who handle their vet care, their daily needs, and finding their next family! These people are golden, and seeing the community pour in support validates all the hard work they put in every day!
If you are interested in donating for the Walk for Animals on May 4th (yes, May the Fourth be with You Day!), Please go to this link! Anything helps support these animals in the care and support they need!
Every dollar raised for the Walk ensures AHS has the resources to care for and protect every animal that comes through their doors. Your gift also helps me get closer to reaching my goal.
