21 years ago, a little soft-eared pup named Sadie was adopted from Animal Humane Society. Sadie the "Shepherd" not only became the namesake of our company but remains our mascot today. Like so many rescues, she was more than our loving mascot - she was a family member, a firm icon, and our founder, Chris's sidekick for over 17 years. While we all miss her very much, we are still guided by Sadie's generous nature, loyalty, and wise spirit.
